Configuration—video—stream type: transcoded stream is used for live view, but transcoded playback is to stream re-encod video from the storage. They are different.
(1) NVR transcoded stream which refers to the NVR re-encoding the received code stream into a code stream with lower resolution and lower frame rate;
(2) The transcoded stream is generally used for remote preview, which can save bandwidth;
(3) At present, the NVR supports the webpage, and the client performs transcoding preview/playback, and the local GUI does not support it;
(4) The transcoding stream function is currently only supported by high-end NVRs, including I series, Netra series, and large number of I series;
(5) The transcoded stream is not supported by the RTSP protocol.
Preview operation

(1) enter Video& Audio to configure transcoding preview parameters, including resolution, frame rate and code rate.
The resolution can be 4CIF/CIF/QCIF. If Auto is selected, the default code will be 4CIF resolution. The bitrate range is 32Kbps~8Mbps.
If the user does not set the parameters, Auto, full frame rate and 2Mbps are adopted for transcoding.
