The new SNAP (HD-SDI) cameras have a built-in RS-485 cable. If connected to a PTZ Controller (tested with TX-SP), you can access the camera’s OSD remotely by pressing the “Iris Open” button on the PTZ Controller. You move up/down by using the joystick and change settings with left/right of the joystick. To select sub-menus, you will need to press the “Iris Open” button.
Also, in the Apollo HS, you can activate/control the camera OSD via the DVR itself. After accessing the PTZ button on the Status Bar, add a Preset of #95. Every time you activate this preset, the camera OSD open. Press the “Up/Down/Left/Right” buttons to simulate the joystick. The “Iris Close” button selects the Sub-Menus.
